HelpAssignment.ca ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the personal information of Canadian students in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

What we collect

We collect only the information needed to deliver our service: your name or preferred alias, email address, phone number, order brief, and payment confirmation. We do not collect your school ID, national ID, or student number.

How we use it

Your information is used to prepare and deliver your order, provide support, process payments, and send order-related updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.

Who sees your order

Only the assigned writer, editor, and support agent handling your order can see your brief. Writers see the task requirements but not your name or contact details.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers (Interac, Visa/Mastercard networks, and PayPal). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the site working and anonymised analytics cookies to improve it. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

Data retention

Order files and messages are retained for 12 months after delivery, then deleted. You may request earlier deletion by emailing hello@helpassignment.ca.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us at the address above and we will respond within 30 days.
