Academic Integrity Disclaimer
HelpAssignment.ca is a study-support service. Our materials are designed to help you learn — as reference examples, drafts to model your own writing on, and editing to sharpen work you have already written.
What responsible use looks like
- Reading our model answer to understand structure, then writing your own.
- Using our editing pass to improve grammar and clarity in your draft.
- Studying our reference list to find peer-reviewed sources you can read yourself.
- Practising past-paper questions with a tutor before an exam.
What we do not condone
- Submitting our materials as your own work where your institution's policy prohibits outside help.
- Using our service to circumvent take-home exam rules or invigilated assessments.
- Any form of contract cheating that breaches Canadian provincial regulations (e.g. Ontario's Bill 88, 2022, prohibiting the advertising of academic cheating services).
Your responsibility
Every Canadian institution publishes an academic-integrity policy — for example, U of T's Code of Behaviour on Academic Matters, UBC's Academic Misconduct policy, and McGill's Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures. You are responsible for reading yours and using our materials within it.
If you're unsure whether outside help is permitted for a specific assessment, ask your instructor or academic-integrity office before ordering.
